Position Summary
We are seeking a courteous, professional, and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. Based at our office in Nugegoda, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations, maintaining smooth communication channels, and ensuring a welcoming experience for all visitors and callers.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients, visitors, and employees in a warm and professional manner
- Answer and manage incoming calls with proper phone etiquette
- Handle daily clerical tasks, including filing, document handling, and mail distribution
- Maintain the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable
- Schedule appointments and coordinate internal meetings
- Provide administrative support to various departments as required
- Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Uphold a high standard of customer service and confidentiality
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar front desk role
- Strong phone etiquette and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma in Administration is a plus)
- Fluent in English and Sinhala; Tamil language skills are an advantage
Working Conditions
- On-site position at our Nugegoda headquarters
- Full-time role, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
