About the Role:
We are hiring a Pattern Maker to help us create garment patterns for our clothing factory in Katunayake. If you can turn designs into patterns and love working with clothes, this job is for you!
Main Duties:
- Make garment patterns from drawings or samples.
- Use paper or computer software to create patterns.
- Adjust patterns to fit different sizes.
- Work with designers and tailors.
- Check patterns to make sure they are correct.
- Help with sample fittings and make changes.
- Keep pattern records and files.
- Make sure patterns match the garment design.
- Solve fitting or design problems.
- Finish pattern work on time.
Qualifications:
- Basic training or diploma in fashion or pattern making.
- 1–2 years of pattern-making experience preferred.
- Can work with paper or CAD tools.
- Good understanding of how clothes are made.
- Good in measurements and detail work.
- Able to work alone or with a team.
