Job Title: Merchandiser – Garment Factory

About the Role:
We are looking for a Merchandiser to work with our garment factory in Katunayake. You will help manage clothing orders from start to finish and talk with buyers, suppliers, and the factory team to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Main Duties:
- Talk to buyers about their orders.
- Make order plans and timelines.
- Follow up with the factory to meet delivery dates.
- Get fabric and materials from suppliers.
- Check samples and send for approval.
- Keep records of orders and shipments.
- Make sure quality meets buyer expectations.
- Solve any order or supply issues.
- Work with the production and quality teams.
- Update buyers regularly on progress.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or basic training in merchandising or garments.
- 1–2 years of merchandising experience is ideal.
- Good communication skills in English and Sinhala/Tamil.
- Knows how garments are made.
- Can use Excel and send emails.
- Organized and can handle many tasks.
