Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and goal-oriented Business Development Officer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding our market presence, building client relationships, and generating new business opportunities. This role combines strategic sales with hands-on client engagement in a competitive B2B IT environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify new business prospects through cold calling, networking, and lead generation strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and propose tailored IT solutions
  • Conduct product presentations, negotiations, and close deals effectively
  • Collaborate with the technical and marketing teams to align client requirements with product capabilities
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM tools
  • Provide timely sales reports and market feedback to senior management

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in B2B IT sales, business development, or sales engineering
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets
  • Strong business acumen and consultative selling approach
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to thrive in a target-driven environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in software or tech-based sales is an added advantage
