Role Overview
We are seeking a Student Counselor who is passionate about guiding students toward global education opportunities. This is a full-time, on-site position, ideal for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of international education systems. You’ll play a critical role in mentoring students and supporting their academic, career, and migration aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide detailed and personalized counseling to students on academic options and overseas study opportunities.
- Guide students through the admission process, from university selection to application submissions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation.
- Liaise with educational institutions and maintain updated knowledge of admission requirements and visa procedures.
- Assist with pre-departure briefings and post-arrival support when required.
Required Qualifications
- Strong student counseling and career advisory skills.
- Excellent communication in English; proficiency in Sinhala or Tamil is a plus.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to empathize and support student needs.
- Proven customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Experience in educational consultancy or student services is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
