Role Overview
As a Ticketing Executive, you will be at the heart of our travel operations, responsible for managing domestic and international ticket bookings, advising customers on travel options, and ensuring smooth ticket issuance and support using leading GDS platforms like Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage air ticket bookings and reservations efficiently via GDS platforms.
- Handle fare calculations, reissues, refunds, and cancellations based on airline rules.
- Communicate with clients regarding travel itineraries, ticket options, and travel regulations.
- Provide excellent post-sales customer service and resolve travel-related queries promptly.
- Maintain updated records of all ticketing transactions and report on sales performance.
- Stay informed about airline policies, fare updates, and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in ticketing and reservation services.
- Proficient in GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre).
- Strong understanding of airline fare rules, routing principles, and ticketing procedures.
- Excellent communication in English and Sinhala; Tamil is an added advantage.
- A Diploma or Degree in Travel, Tourism, or Hospitality is preferred.
- GDS Certification will be an added plus.
