Position Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Zonal Manager to join our leadership team in Negombo. In this role, you will oversee all operational aspects within your assigned zone, ensure strategic alignment with organizational goals, manage cross-functional teams, and maintain high-performance standards across diverse business units. Your role will be instrumental in driving growth, optimizing resources, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily operations within the assigned zone, ensuring all business activities meet quality and compliance standards.
- Supervise and support zonal staff across multiple departments, including logistics, agriculture, hospitality, and property management.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare periodic reports, review KPIs, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Manage zonal budgets and oversee resource allocation to maximize profitability.
- Foster productive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in zonal or regional management, preferably in multi-sector environments.
- Proven experience in logistics, agriculture, or service-based sectors will be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical thinking with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and operational management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and deliver consistent performance under pressure.
