Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to help manage costs for our building projects in Kurunegala. You will estimate prices, check budgets, and support project planning.
Main Duties:
- Prepare cost estimates for construction work
- Keep track of project budgets and expenses
- Handle payments for suppliers and workers
- Visit sites to measure completed work
- Create bills of quantities (BOQs)
- Negotiate material and labor prices
- Help with tender and contract documents
- Report costs to the management team
- Make sure spending stays within budget
- Follow safety and legal rules
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- Good math and planning skills
- Can use Excel and QS software
- Understand building materials and plans
- Able to visit sites when needed
